Your startup gets qualified in the Grupa marketplace if it is;

In practice, your startup will still have to get matched with an expert team from Grupa that is best-fit to build your product.

The form of integration will be dependent on the agreement between you and the reserved team from Grupa. This could be having the FAANG expert team collaborate with your existing team on the project and meet during agreed times or the FAANG expert team runs the entire work if handed off to them.

To be a verified expert on Grupa, you must be a top talent from FAANG with a great past experience, communication skill, work attitude, and top-level professionalism.

Grupa expert teams go through a vetting process that includes; portfolio review, review from previous clients, video interviews & background checks before they are activated.

We ensure you communicate your product idea, requirements, and industry expertise on the platform. That way, we help you get matched with the best-fit expert team to build your product.

This is totally up to you and your current product requirements. With that being said, Grupa team consists of 4 experts across design, engineering, product, and data.

Your satisfaction is our priority! The necessary support will be provided after a clear understanding of your feedback. If it requires getting you matched with a new expert team, we will get that sorted right away!

Grupa charges a 20% recruitment fee on the 1yr salary of the expert either as one off or monthly installment.

The majority of expert teams on Grupa are currently located in California.

There are different plans available on the Grupa platform that allows you to choose the work mode of the expert team. It could be remotely or on-site. The choice is yours!

We give power to the experts through a roadmap and we give power to startups through the approval process.

In simpler terms, you get matched with an expert team best-fit to build your product, contracts will be signed between you and the expert team, and automated payments will be scheduled with Grupa to kick off work.

The FAANG expert teams are committed to work for 15-30 hours per week depending on the product they’re building. The expected time commitment is a cumulative of their free time which is sustainable enough for weekly work.

The startup! Grupa ensures in its contract that the possession of the product developed by the expert team belongs to the startup only.

We ensure several legal agreements; Conflict of Interest, Non-Competes, a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDAs) and Service-Level Agreement (SLAs) are signed between you and the expert team. Whatever happens in Grupa, stays in Grupa.

However, For Non-Compete Clauses, we focus on California, where the non-competes are not enforceable. We also try to match expert teams with projects that do not directly compete with their current work.

YES! A $500 comittment fee for startups who want to be on the priority list.

A priority list is for startups who are ready to build their products ASAP! And have paid an initial $500 commitment fee to get the best-fit expert team reserved just for them.

A waiting list is for startups who want to build their products but are not fully committed yet, but just want to explore Grupa. They pay no upfront fee.

The compensation model between startups and expert teams are effective in three possible ways; Cash only (starts at $10k), Cash & Equity (starts at $7.5k + 0.125%), and Equity only (starts at 0.375%).

You pay Grupa in advance every month per iteration. This way, the expert team gets to be paid either bi-weekly or monthly from Grupa depending on the iteration plan between you and the expert team. This payment cycle happens automatically until the completion of your product.

Equity is an 18 months vesting period which has a 3 months cliff and monthly vesting thereafter.

What is allocated per month after the 3 months cliff is the equity divided by 18.

Whenever an agreement is terminated, the experts get the equity accrued for the months they spent past the first three months.

However, short term engagements are Cash only while long term engagements are Cash + Equity or Equity only.

The 20% fee collected by Grupa is deducted from the experts earnings ( i.e compensation which is paid monthly).

The compensation fee is fixed. This is because the experts are expected to work an average of 20 hours and maximum of 30 hours per week.
